Valentine's Day with Angel
Hello to everyone who blogs. I hope that you all had a wonderful Valentine's Day. I know I did with my boyfriend Angel. Valentine's Day is also my anniversey when Angel and I started dating. It has now been three wonderful years. I started Valentine's Day by doing one of the things I do best and that is baking. Angel loves whatever I bake because it's always made with love and most of the time chocolate. Angel really likes chocolate a lot which is why I call him a chocolatic. I bake sugar cookies and chewy fugde brownies. I was going to bake sugar cookies with pretty red and pink hearts but the supermarket that I wanted to buy them from only had Easter cookies. What kind of dum supermarket sells Easter cookies in February? Easter is not until Sunday April 4TH, 2010 and the supermarket that I wanted to buy Valentine's Day cookies from started to sell cookies for Easter. I was mad and both my mom and I realized that we should of bought Valentine's Day cookies sooner. I bought plain sugar cookies instead since I didn't find what I really wanted. One of my friend's Fiorella came over to give me a Valentine's Day present. She gave me a Hello Kitty doll wearing a yellow dress and a box of yogurt from her mother's job. The doll is really cute and the yogurt was really good. I gave Fiorella a little Valentine's Day dog, a small box of chocolate and a bag of brownies and sugar cookies that I made. We chilled in my house for a while and we were watching the movie Coraline. Fiorella said she said never seen Coraline and she enjoyed it very much. After Fiorella went home my boyfriend Angel came and we gave each other gifts. I gave Angel a new action figure, a chocolate rose, two small boxes of chocolates, a little teddy bear and a bag of cookies and brownies which made Angel very happy. I got a red Hello Kitty trinket box, the essential book of useless information, a red rose, a Valentine's Day balloon, a box of chocolates with cherry filling and a small box of chocolate inside a heart shape box with roses on it. Before we went out to dinner Angel and I watched The Nightmare Before Christmas that Angel gave me for Christmas. When the movie finished we left to go to dinner at this resturant Angel pick out. We went to this resturant called Ruby's Foo. We got to Ruby Foo at 8:17 p.m. but since it was Valentine's Day there was a lot of people at the resturant but Angel did the smart thing by making a reservation in advance. However we still had to wait for an hour. When Angel and I finally got a table we ordered Chicken Stir Fry and it was great. Angel and I had a wonderful night and the food was awesome. Our Valversey was wonderful and I look forward to next year.

Danny and Sam in Love
Hello to the people out there who blog. For today's post I'm going to write about two characters from a T.V. show I used to watch on Nickelodeon called Danny Phantom. It's about a 14 year old boy name Danny Fenton and his parents are ghost hunters and they are always making crazy inventions that are involve in what they do and that is hunt ghost. Danny's parents invent a portal to the ghost world which at first they didn't think it was working. Danny went inside of it to check it out and if seen or heard about Danny Phantom you know what happens next. A explosion in the ghost portal gives Danny ghostly powers and he becomes half ghost and the super hero Danny Phantom. In the show Danny had two best friends Sam and Tucker. However Tucker isn't in my post for today because I'm focusing on Danny's female friend Sam who is a goth girl that likes Danny a lot. I've seen all the episodes of Danny Phantom including the very last one where Danny saves the world from being destroyed and finally hooking up with Sam. I knew those two lovebirds would be together. Here are some pictures of Danny and Sam together as a couple in love. Picture number 1 is Danny and Sam looking at each other with so much love in their eyes.Tuesday, January 5, 2010
Kiki's Delivery Service
One of my favorite movies to watch is Kiki's Delivery Service. It's about a 13 year old girl name Kiki who is a witch. In the movie she has to go away for a year to train on her own to become a better witch. Kiki's mom is also a witch and that is whom Kiki gets her powers from. Picture number 1 is a picture of Kiki's black cat Jiji and she has the ability to talk to Jiji and he talks backs to her. Jiji goes with Kiki on her journey to become a better witch. Jiji and Kiki are best friends. In the movie Kiki starts her own delivery service that way people can send packages where ever they have to go.
Picture number 2 is Kiki and a boy she met in the town where she is settled in. His name is Tombo and thinks it's cool that Kiki is a witch. His hobby is flying and Tombo is always inventing ways to make his dreams come true. At first when Kiki met Tombo she didn't like him but they got to know each other and became good friends.
Picture number 3 is Kiki flying on her broom along with her black cat Jiji. Like I said before Jiji and Kiki can talk to each other. Kiki is about to land in the town where she gets settle in. If you seen the movie then you know what happens when Kiki trys to land.
Picture number 4 is Kiki lying on a grassy field in her hometown. She is listening to the weather report on her dad's radio. Kiki then decided that since it was going to be a fullmoon out that night she thought it would be the perfect time to go on her journey to train as witch. Kiki's dad gives her the radio because she always listening to it.
Picture number 5 is Kiki and her black cat Jiji sitting in a bakery. When Kiki settles in she meets a woman named Osono. Osono likes Kiki and she gives her a place to stay and hires Kiki as her delivery girl. She also looks out for Kiki as a second mom especially when Kiki got sick coming back from a delivery trip on a stormy night.
Picture number 6 is Kiki, Tombo and Jiji riding on Tombo's flying bike. To me it looks like Kiki and Jiji are freaking out.
Picture number 7 is Kiki flying on her broom near the big clock tower in the town where Kiki settles in. She looks very happy to be in the new town.
Picture number 8 is Kiki and a person she met while she was making a delivery. Her name is Ursula and is an artist that lives in a log cabin in the woods. In the movie Kiki was deliverying a toy black cat for a woman that was going to be late for her nephew's birthday party. While Kiki was on her way a bunch of black birds came and flew into Kiki. The toy cat got lost and Jiji has to pretend to be the toy while Kiki went to look for it. Ursula found it and gave it back to Kiki as a deal they made. The deal was for Kiki to help clean the cabin and Ursula fixed the toy because the head was coming off. During the movie Kiki was losing her witches powers because one night Jiji came in and they couldn't talk to each other and Kiki wasn't able to fly. Ursula thought it would be a good idea for Kiki to spend the night at her cablin that way she can take it easy. That is Kiki in a truck along with Ursula and guy who's name I don't know but Ursula knows him and he gives them a lift.
Picture number 9 is Kiki and Tombo riding together on Tombo's bike that has a propeller in the front.
Picture number 10 is Kiki along with her mom and dad and all the neigbors wishing Kiki a safe trip. Kiki is switching brooms with her mom because Kiki's mom thinks the broon her daughter made is too small and Kiki takes her mom's old broom with her on her trip. At first Kiki really didn't want to use her mother's broom because she thought it was too old. However Kiki's mom said it's better for her and it can stand anykind of weather. Kiki realize that her mom was right and switches brooms.
Picture number 11 is Osono. She was the first adult Kiki met and gave her a place to stay where Kiki had nowhere else to go. Osono also gave Kiki a job as her delivery girl. That is how Kiki got her delivery service started. As I said before Osono is like a second mom to Kiki and looks out for her. Kiki is very grateful for Osono letting her stay with Osono.
Picture number 12 is a picture of Kiki looking at herself in the mirror and Jiji is in the picture too. I think this painting is very nice.
Picture number 13 is Kiki flying in the air along with Jiji who is really scared that Kiki is going really fast. The reason why I did on a post about Kiki's Delivery Service is because I love that movie very much and I decide that my costume for the 2010 anime festival that is happening at the Javis Center and it's starts on Friday October 8TH, 2010 and it ends on Sunday October 10TH, 2010. So far I have a dark dress and I'm going to try my best to get the other things for my costume. That is all I have to say for now. Let me know what you think of the post I put for my blog entry.Friday, December 25, 2009
Christmas with the family
To everyone in the blogging world I hope you all enjoyed Christmas day with your families, friends or whatever you did on this joyful holiday. I celebrated Christmas with my family. It was just me, my mom my 2ND older sister Jessica and my nephew Anthony. It all began at 8:55 a.m. Christmas morning my nephew Anthony was super happy that Santa Claus came and gave us presents. Both him and his mother wouldn't stop waking me up and all I wanted to do was sleep for a little bit longer. I gave in because I wanted to open my presents too. Anthony got a lot of toys, games and a movie this year. My mom bought Anthony a crayola art easel, Mario vs. Sonic at the winter Olympics and the movie UP. My sister Jessica aka Anthony's mom gave her son many things that I can't remember right now. I gave Anthony a cute teddy bear bank, Elefun the game and a Spider man dinner set. I got really cool things for Christmas from my mom, my sister Jessica, my boyfriend Angel and Anthony. My sweet little nephew made me a hand print out of clay and he painted it gold just for me. I thought that was so sweet and now I will always remember how small his hand was when he grows up. Jessica gave me a DS i which is awesome and cooking mama. If you don't know what cooking mama is it's a video game that you can cook different foods. my mom gave me a portable DVD player, lip gloss from Victoria's Secrets, Night at the museum part 2 gift pack and G Force. My boyfriend Angel gave me a new scrapbook in red, a Hello Kitty 2010 calender which I look forward to putting up on New Year's Day, The Collector's Edition of The Nightmare Before Christmas, a little chocolate snowman and the movie Spirited Away. My mom got House Party 1 through 4 on DVD and a new jewelry box from me and my sister gave her make up and perfume. As a child I always felt like a spoiled brat because I always got a lot of things for Christmas. I think I still might be that same spoiled little girl only because I got a lot of cool things for Christmas this year. For Christmas Jessica got nail polish and lotion from me and mom got her perfume and make up from Victoria's Secret. All Christmas day I was trying out my gifts. The portable DVD player works great and I'm having so much fun with my new DS i. For Christmas dinner my mom made pork and I don't mean ham, rice and beans and fried and boiled bananas. Later on my sister friend Faryn came by to have Christmas dinner however she was really hate and my mom was mad as hell at Faryn for coming so late. It wasn't her fault that she had to work late. This Christmas was very nice and now I can look forward to the new year and my valversity with the love of my life Angel. I hope that everyone enjoyed Christmas and Happy New Year to you all.

How I prepaired for the GED math test
To everyone who is a blogger as I wrote in a post entitled I'M SO FREAKING HAPPY!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I said that I passed the GED test which I'm glad about. I'm going to tell you how I prepared for the GED test I took on Monday November 16TH, 2009. It all started on Wednesday September 30TH, 2009 when I decided to give it another try even though I failed math in June. I looked up GED testing dates online and I found a list of different dates from different schools that were doing the test. I printed out an application and I filled it out which was easy. Before I finished filling out the application I had to pick out a school of where to take the exam. I chose the only school that I'm familiar with and it's the same place where I took the GED test in the past. I send my application to the Manhattan School because I used to take the test with my former GED high school Access. My mom mailed out the application for me the next day on Thursday October 1ST, 2009 just three days before my 22ND birthday which was on Sunday October 4TH, 2009. I made sure to renew my ID card because I wasn't about to go take the test and show the people an expired ID which I needed when I went to take the test. I waited for three longs week before I got a card saying that I got a seat to take the math GED test in November. I received the card of where to take the test and what time to be there on Thursday October 22ND, 2009. I was really happy to get it and between Thursday October 22ND, 2009 and Sunday November 15TH, 2009 I studied everyday for six to nine hours straight. I didn't play video games and I hardly watched T.V. My mom thought I was over doing it with the studying but I told her I wanted to pass that bad. She understood and supported me all the way. I got out my old workbooks I saved from Access and of course the GED calculator that one of my former math teachers Mr. Rishi made the class buy because the other students would either borrow them and never give them back or steal them. I practiced using the GED calculator and I reviewed every math topic I learned during my time at Access GED. If only I was still at Access because sometimes a person can forget and need a review on sometime they learned. But I wasn't going to stay 21 and under forever. I studied so much that I didn't get much sleep and on Monday November 9TH, 2009 I caught a nasty cold along with a sore throat and a dry cough after that. I'm thinking my mom was right about me over doing it with the studying. What can I say I really wanted to pass which I did. I even felt a little sick on my boyfriend Angel's birthday on Friday November 13TH, 2009. It rained that day which didn't make it any better. I thought that due to me getting sick I thought that I would have to miss the GED test and fill out the application all over again. Thank goodness I made a full recovery the day before I took the math GED test. I felt better on Sunday November 15TH, 2009. The night before the exam I made sure to get a good nights rest and to be ready for anything. I woke up the next morning ready to take math again. I left my home at 2:00 p.m. that way to make sure that I got to the testing site on time. As soon as I got there I ran into a former classmate of my from Access. Her name is Lytisha and she was taking other parts of the GED test I don't remember but I hope that she passed too. The test didn't start until 4:00 p.m. and I was ready to take it and pass. There was some math problems that I didn't understand that well but I did my best to answer them. I took test form IK which according to what Mr. Rishi told me test form IK is the hardest one to pass. I believe that because a lot of the questions on that test were hard. Mr. Rishi if your reading this I hope that your proud of me for finally passing the math part of the GED test. I finished taking the test on time and I went home that evening with a big relief off my shoulders that I gave the math GED test one more try. As I said in my last post I'M SO FREAKING HAPPY!!!!!!!!!!!!! I received my diploma and results on Monday December 14TH, 2009 and boy was I screaming to the top my lungs when I saw my diploma. To anyone who has taken the math GED test and failed here are some tips for you.
1. Don't get discourage just because you failed. Believe in yourself to do better next time.
2. Study a lot and get yourself a GED calculator at your local Staples.
3. It's good to study a lot but don't get yourself sick over it like I did.
4. If there is something you don't understand ask for help from someone who is good in math and or from someone who has taken the GED test before and passed it.
5. Never study at the last minute otherwise you won't do well.
6. If your in a GED program like I was get tutoring afterschool.
7. Get a good night's sleep before taking the GED test because nobody wants to fall asleep while taking a test.
8. Always do your best.
I hope that my tips help and good luck to anyone who is about to either take the whole test or just a subject that they didn't do well in before. This is how I prepared to take the math GED test.

I'M SO FREAKING HAPPY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ladies and Gentlemen of the blogging world I Kristine Ann Melendez have great news. I finally passed the GED test which means I now have my GED diploma. As the title of my post said I'M SO FREAKING HAPPY!!!!!!!!!!!!! I took the math GED test on Monday November 16TH, 2009. Math was the only subject that was holding me back from getting my GED diploma sooner. Because of me failing math in June I didn't get to graduate with my class at my former GED high school Access GED. I was upset about failing but I knew if I kept trying I know I can pass it. I got a 430 in math just to let you know. Now that I passed the GED test I can plan for the futher. I waited for a long time to get my results along with my diploma which I deserve and I hope you all know that and just to let you know I didn't freak out while taking the test because I learned it's best to keep a cool head while taking a test. When my mom gave me the envelope that had my results I opened it right away to see if I finally got what I always wanted. When I saw that I passed the GED test I screamed for joy really loud. My nephew Anthony was screaming with me and we were jumping for joy all over the place. I told my friends Fiorella and Sherwin about my sucess and they were very happy for me. I also told my sweetheart Angel the good news in a text message. Angel said he is very proud of me and knew that I could do it. I even made a copy of my GED diploma and my results to put in my scrapbook because I want to remember the day I got my GED diploma and results forever. Now that I have my GED diploma I would like to thank the following people. My friend Sherwin for helping me sign up for Access GED on Monday July 7TH, 2008, My family who always supported and believed in me, my homegirls Fiorella and Christina that always believed that I could do it, the love of my life Angel who is happy for me that I finally passed, all my teachers back at Access John my computer teacher, Mr. Rishi and Ms. Hemans my math teahcers, Mr. Shaw my Social Studies teacher and Ms. Lopez my science teacher. To all my teachers, Ms. Linda the principal and Ms. Savage thanks for the great year at Access GED. Just to let you all know I got my GED diploma and results on Monday December 14TH, 2009. I hope I made everyone proud. If any teacher or anyone from Access GED is reading this leave me a message on my blog telling me how proud you are of me for finally passing the math GED test.
